In August of 2021, Baillie Lumber put into place a go green initiative in order to reduce their carbon emissions. They hired National Energy Control to perform an assessment to determine if solar was a good option.
THE SOLUTION
300 KW Solar Photovoltaic array
National Energy Control installed a 300 KW Solar Photovoltaic array as well as all new LED lighting across the entire facility. The array covers 30,000 square feet of the sawmill.
